This call and application came from a Third Order member in USA asking us to support the Medical Mission Fund in their work in Phebe (Lutheran/ Episcopal) Hospital, to set up a public health communications system working in rural communities with E-bola education.

In 2014, alongside the communications sysytem, physicians urgently needed Bio-protective materials.

The application states:

The largest E-bola epidemic ever known is destroying Liberia. Many health care workers have died. Phebe Hospital has closed. There is Fear, Ignorance and Panic!

To continue the work on an E-bola project in Bolahun Lofa County in Liberia, we supported tuition for E-bola orphans and the beginning of a lunch programme. The Programme offered educational, medical and psychological support to children in the school.
