Franciscan Aid is committed to encouraging projects to ensure that all vulnerable groups of people are protected and supported in accordance with the commitment of the Anglican (Episcopal) Church Worldwide.

We are concerned that all people who are supported by our grant aid, especially children, and vulnerable adults, are treated with respect and actively protected from abusive behaviour of any kind.

Please check with your local Diocese and the Country in which you work for what their requirements are, and ensure you comply with them.

Thank you for looking after those you are supporting, through caring for those in need.

  1. All applications must be sponsored by an Anglican Franciscan who is in a position to monitor the progress and inform the Trustees. Companions may sponsor a project if they are supported by a first Order member.
  2. Repeated grants to the same organisation should be at the discretion of the Trustees.
